Executive Vice President, COSCO Shipping Holding and

Chief Operating Officer, OOCL

Mr. Kenny Jianping Ye is the Executive Vice President of COSCO Shipping Holding and COO of OOCL.  He joined the OOCL Group in 1994 and has served the Group in various capacities for over 25 years. He was appointed Executive VP of COSCO Shipping Holding and COO of OOCL in 2020. He was born and educated in Shanghai, China. Mr. Ye holds a Diploma of Accounting from Lixin Accounting Institute (currently known as Shanghai Lixin University of Commerce) and a Master of Business Administration from Oklahoma City University. Mr. Ye currently resides in Hong Kong.

COSCO SHIPPING Lines Co., Ltd, (hereinafter referred to as COSCO SHIPPING Lines) , affiliated with COSCO SHIPPING Group, was created in 2016 with the integrated container businesses of CSCL and its predecessor COSCO. COSCO SHIPPING Lines is a fully-owned subsidiary of COSCO SHIPPING Holding Co., Ltd,registered in China (Shanghai) Free-trade Experimental Area with a registered capital of 23.664 billion Yuan. The company is mainly engaged in domestic and international maritime container transport services and related business, as the group's core business sector. At the end of December 2019, COSCO SHIPPING Lines had a total of 235 corporate enterprises, including 97 domestic enterprises and 138 enterprises abroad. At that time, the company owned and operated 403 container vessels with a total capacity of 2.2 million TEUs (COSCO SHIPPING Holdings owned and operated 507 container vessels with a total capacity of 3.0 million TEUs, ranking the 3rd in the world in terms of shipping capacity. COSCO SHIPPING Lines operates 401 international and domestic shipping routes, consisting of 255 international services (including international feeder services), 58 domestic services, 88 Yangtze River and Pearl River shipping services, having anchors in 356 ports covering 105 countries and regions worldwide.
