This document contains industry-produced guidelines in the form of a white paper and accompanying checklist addressing considerations and measures that should be taken by warehouses storing, handling and consolidating dangerous goods, and covers topics such as construction of the warehouse, operations, fire protection, security, and emergency response. The document also recommends that guidelines be considered for inclusion in various instruments, codes and circulars published by IMO, as appropriate.
