Revision of the IMO/ILO/UNECE Code of Practice for Packing of Cargo Transport Units (CTU Code)

The co-sponsors have been closely involved in the review and revision of the CTU Code and respectfully commend the revised CTU Code to the Sub-Committee. They encourage, in particular, the approval of the finalized content so as to maintain alignment of the approval processes between the sponsoring organizations and thereby facilitate publication of the revised edition of the CTU Code and its updated and expanded provisions to industry as soon as possible. In this regard, they also encourage approval of the terms of reference for the Technical Body so as to provide a means of adapting the CTU Code to future developments in a timely and collaborative manner.
